In his exhibition Memorabilia, Aidon explores fragments of a former culture through the use of found objects from yesteryear. With his unique mix of cultural and astrological symbols, collage and photomontage, sculptural elements and found objects, Westcott proposes investment of new and continually shifting meaning and interpretations for each individual.The objects carry a reality of their own; they are the remains of a past, broken-down system or culture which the artist attempts to reconstruct in a new way.
